Wabash College seniors
Quinn Sholar and
Brody Rucker added to their decorated careers Wednesday when both were named to the 2025 D3football.com All-Region 4 First Team.
Sholar, a four-time First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection at left tackle, earned his second consecutive First Team All-Region honor after also claiming the recognition in 2024. A 2025 D3football.com Preseason Second Team All-America pick, he anchored one of the conference's most productive and balanced offenses. Wabash ranked second in the NCAC in rushing offense (141.9 yards per game), third in both scoring (37.1 points per game) and passing (268.9 yards per game), and fourth in total offense (410.8 yards per game). The Little Giants' scoring average placed them 38th nationally in Division III.
Sholar previously earned Second Team All-Region honors in 2023, and the latest recognition caps a career defined by consistency and durability. His presence at left tackle helped stabilize an offensive line that propelled Wabash to an 8–2 regular-season record in 2025 and the program's second straight postseason bowl appearance.
Rucker, the NCAC Special Teams Player of the Year and a First Team All-NCAC selection, joined Sholar on the regional first team after delivering one of the finest seasons ever by a Wabash kicker. He converted 11 of 14 field-goal attempts and 40 of 42 extra points, finishing fifth in the conference in scoring at 7.3 points per game. His 11 made field goals tied for the sixth-most in a single season in program history.
Rucker's 50-yard field goal against Denison matched the longest kick ever by a Wabash player and ranked 10th nationally among Division III kickers this season. He closed the regular season ranked second in career extra points (139) and third in career field goals (30).
