WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio — Wabash College closed the opening round of the 2025 Donald Ross Invitational in second place Sunday, finishing one stroke behind leader Otterbein University at Manakiki Golf Course.
The Little Giants carded a team score of 299, 11-over par, to trail Otterbein's 298 (+10) in the eight-team field. Host John Carroll University sits third at 302 (+14).
Wabash was led by senior Sean Bledsoe, who fired an even-par 72 to share the individual lead with Otterbein's Jake Morgan. Freshman Leo Dellinger added a 73 (+1) to tie for third, while fellow first-year Finn Carteaux posted a 75 (+3) to join a tie for 10th. Freshman Charlie Seaburg (76, +4) tied for 15th, and senior Liam McAllister (78, +6) tied for 24th to round out the Little Giants' scoring five.
Also competing for Wabash, Mason Pierle shot 83 (+11) to finish 41st, and sophomore Coen Bauschek carded an 84 (+12) to tie for 42nd.
The invitational concludes Monday with the final round at Shaker Heights Country Club.
