KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Wabash College tennis team turned in a strong showing at the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Fall Tournament, highlighted by the doubles team of Rafael Rin and Augusto Ghidini advancing to the quarterfinals over the weekend at Kalamazoo College.

Rin and Ghidini opened play with an 8-3 victory over host Kalamazoo's Derek Blackwell and Cameron Crosby on Friday before earning a thrilling 8-7 win against Washington University's Jeremy Sieben and Ethan Wu in the round of 16. The Little Giants' run ended in the quarterfinals with an 8-2 loss to Case Western Reserve's Bryce Ware and Trey Lambright.

In singles play, Rin battled back from a first-set loss to defeat Ohio Northern's Dylan Catanese 5-7, 6-3, 10-7 in his opening match before falling 6-1, 6-2 to Denison's Andreas Chapides in the round of 32. Ghidini claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win over Alejandro Perez of Transylvania before dropping a hard-fought 7-5, 6-2 contest to Kalamazoo's Crosby in the round of 64.
