The Wabash tennis team recorded its third straight shutout, defeating Rose-Hulman in Terre Haute Wednesday night by a score of 9-0.

The victory was the 96th of head coach Jason Hutchison's career at Wabash, placing him four away from 100.

The Little Giants opened with a sweep of doubles play. Ian Leonard and Evan Bayless won every game in an 8-0 victory at number three doubles. Daniel Delgado and Nate Koelper won all but one game with an 8-1 victory in the second doubles flight. Wade Miller and Peter Gunderman won 8-6 at number one doubles.

Miller scored a 6-3, 6-0 straight sets victory at number one singles. The Little Giants never lost a set throughout the competition as Delgado won 6-1, 6-3 at number two singles. Gunderman was nearly perfect with a 6-0, 6-1 victory in the third singles flight. Leonard won 6-2, 6-0 at number four singles. Koelper was a 6-1, 6-2 winner in t he fifth flight, while Phil Kubisz picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at number six singles.

Wabash (10-6) returns home on Saturday to play a single match against Lake Forest College at 1 p.m. at the Collett Tennis Center.
