Netters Lose 7-2 at DePauw

Wade Miller picked up a three-set victory in singles play, while Nate Koelper and Daniel Delgado scored a victory at number two doubles in the Little Giants' 7-2 loss Wednesday afternoon at DePauw University.

Miller lost the first set 2-6, but rallied for a 6-4 victory in the second set of his number-one singles matach against Sam Miles. Miller won the super set 10-8 to take the individual victory.

Koelper and Delgado picked up an 8-5 win against Eric Hubbard and David Moss earlier in the contest.

Peter Gunderman forced three sets in his match at number three singles, winning the first set 6-1 before losing 5-7 in the second. Michael Rardon picked up a 10-8 win in the super set to score the team point for DePauw (11-4, 2-0 NCAC West).

Wabash is 12-8 overall and 0-2 in North Coast Athletic Conference West Division matches. The Little Giants will compete at the Great Lakes Colleges Association Tennis Tournament at Oberlin College this weekend.
