One day after rallying in singles play for victory, the Little Giant tennis team was unable to repeat the effort in a 5-4 loss to Ohio Northern University to close out the annual spring break trip.

The Wabash doubles team of Daniel Delgado and Mark Troiano picked up a team point with an 8-6 win in the first flight. The duo also picked up a pair of wins in singles play. Delgado won in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the second flight. Troiano won in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 at number four singles. Phil Kubisz added a three-set win at number six singles with a score of 6-2, 0-6, 6-2.

Wabash returns home with an overall record of 7-6 and mark of 2-2 during the four matches in Orlando. The Little Giants will face Hanover College on Saturday, March 16 at 9 a.m. in Crawfordsville, followed by a 4 p.m. match against Cornerstone University at 4 p.m.
