Wabash earned a 5-4 victory in Saturday morning's non-conference tennis match versus Wooster. The Little Giants lost to Elmhurst 8-1, but scored their lone point with a come-from-behind victory by Wade Miller.

Miller lost the opening set of number one singles to the Bluejays' Alex Harbert 7-6 (5) before dominating the second set with a 6-0 victory. The pair battled back and forth in the tiebreaker before Miller scored the 10-7 victory to defeat Harbert for the first time in his career.

"Wade and Alex have faced each other several times in the past with Harbert winning all of the previous matches," Wabash head coach Jason Hutchison said. "It was an important match for Wade and I was so proud to see him come up with this win."

Wabash took a 2-1 lead over Wooster in doubles action in the morning session. Miller and Michael Makio took an 8-4 victory at number one doubles. Graham McMullen and Mazin Hakim scored an 8-3 win at number three doubles. Miller picked up a straight-sets win (7-5, 6-1) at number one singles. Makio won 6-1, 6-3 in the second singles flight, while Nate Koelper locked up the team victory.

The Little Giants are 3-3 for the year. Wooster falls to 1-3 while Elmhurst is 4-1. Wabash will face Earlham College at home Wednesday at 5 p.m.
