Wabash will play Wittenberg in the semifinals of the 2014 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament after the Little Giants lost 5-0 to DePauw Friday afternoon.
Wabash faced the 23rd-ranked Tigers in the opening round of the tournament, held this year at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. The Little Giants lost thre three singles matches by scores of 8-4, 8-3, and 8-3.
Wade Miller, ranked 25th in the Central Region in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association listing, fell 6-4, 6-3 at number one singles against 20th-ranked Sam Miles.
Mark Troiano lost a 6-2, 6-3 contest to Patrick Farrell at number three singles.
The Little Giants (11-16) face Wittenberg Saturday at 9 a.m. after the Tigers lost 5-0 to the host Big Red squad. Wabash lost 5-4 at Wittenberg three weeks ago.
