Wabash Tennis Blanks Rose

Mark Troiano won in three set at number two singles and scored an 8-1 victory at number one doubles with Wade Miller in the Little Giants' 9-0 win at Rose-Hulman.

Wabash swept every match in Wednesday night's tennis contest at Rose-Hulman for a 9-0 victory.

Wade Miller and Mark Troiano started the night with an 8-1 victory at number one doubles. Nate Koelper and Graham McMullen tacked on an 8-3 victory in the second doubles. Nathan Neal and Mazin Hakim completed the doubles scoring with an 8-4 victory in the third flight.

Miller recorded a 6-0, 6-2 win at number one singles. Troiano went to three sets at number two singles to earn a 7-5, 4-6, 10-6 result. Koelper played to a 6-4, 6-1 win in the third singles flight, while McMullen picked up a team point at number four singles by the same score.

Hakim locked up fifth singles with a 6-1, 6-4 victory. Neal closed out the contest with a 6-3, 6-2 win in the sixth single flight.

Wabash (9-12) will serve as the host school for the annual NCAC-MIAA Challenge Friday and Saturday.
