Wabash tennis scored a pair of victories in the Chicago-land area Sunday. The Little Giants opened play with a 7-2 win against Elmhurst then picked up an 8-1 victory versus Lake Forest.

Wabash swept doubles competition against Elmhurst in the morning session, starting with an 8-4 win by
Daniel Delgado and
William Reifeis in the first flight.
Michael Makio and
Mark Troiano scored an 8-5 win at number two doubles.
Graham McMullen and
Mazin Hakim won 8-6 in the third doubles flight.

Delgado won in straight sets at number singles (6-3, 6-4) as did Makio at two singles (6-4, 6-2). Reifeis, the reigning North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, needed three sets to remain undefeated in singles play this season. He scored a win in the fourth flight by scores of 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. McMullen added a 7-5, 6-4 win at number five singles.

The Little Giants swept singles play in the nightcap versus the Foresters. Delgado won 6-7 (4), 7-5, 10-4 at number one singles. Makio scored a 6-2, 6-0 win in the second flight, while Troiano picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at number three singles. Reifeis took a straight sets win at four singles (6-3, 6-3). McMullen won 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 at number five singles, and
Kirill Ivashchenko took the number six singles match by scores of 6-3, 6-3.
