The Wabash tennis team swept in-state rival Franklin Wednesday night in a 9-0 contest at the Collett Tennis Center.

The Little Giants opened with three doubles victories.
Daniel Delgado and William Reifes blanked their opponents in the first flight 8-0.
Michael Makio and
George Go III won 8-1 at number two doubles.
Graham McMullen and
Mazin Hakim score an 8-2 win in the third flight.

Delagado won in straight sets (6-2, 6-0) at number one singles. Makio cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at two singles. Feifeis posted a 6-3, 6-3 win in the third singles flight.

Kirill Ivashchenko earned a shutout with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth singles. Hakim went to three sets before picking up a 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 victory at fifth singles.

Nathan Neal battled to a three-set victory in the final singles match. After taking a 6-4 victory in the first set, he lost 7-5 in the tiebreaker to drop the second set 7-6 but rallied for a dominating 10-1 victory in the last set.

Wabash improves to 2-1 with the victory. The Little Giants travel to Oberlin, Ohio Saturday. The Little Giants play Oberlin at 9 a.m. before taking on Tiffin at 1 p.m.
