Wabash Season Ends With Sixth-Place Finish at NCAC Tennis Tourney

A 5-3 loss to Allegheny College Saturday brought an end to the Wabash tennis season. The Little Giants finished sixth in the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament.

Mark Troiano and Michael Makio combined for an 8-4 win at number two doubles, giving the pair their 22nd victory of the season. Troiano closed out his career at Wabash with one more victory --- a 6-2, 6-2 win at number three singles for his 22nd of the year and 56th overall. Freshman William Reifeis finished the season with 21 victories after scoring a 6-3, 6-4 win at number four singles.

Wabash finished the season with a record-setting 20 wins (20-9 overall). Troiano's 22 wins tied for the third-most in a single season by any player. Reifeis and his double partner --- senior Daniel Delgado --- finished second in doubles victories with 25. Delgado and Troiano tied for fifth in career singles victories with 56, while Delgado captured the all-time wins record in doubles play with 75.
