Wabash extended its winning streak to six games with two victories in Michigan Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants defeated Luther College 5-4 before knocking off Carthage College 6-3.

Wabash (7-2) trailed Luther 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play.
Michael Makio and
William Reifeis combined for an 8-6 win in the first flight. Reifeis followed with a three-set win at number two singles, rallying for a 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Jordan Greenwell dropped the second set of his number three singles match before scoring a 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 win for the Little Giants. Kilill Ivashchenko rallied for 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 win in the fourth singles flight.
Mazin Hakim added a team point with his 5-7, 7-6 (6), 6-4 win at sixth singles to give Wabash the deciding point in the 5-4 victory.

The Little Giants captured two of the three doubles matches, starting with an 8-6 win by Makio and Reifeis Greenwell and
George Go III also scored an 8-6 win in their third doubles contest. Reifeis added a three-set 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory in the second singles flight.

Wabash posted wins in the final three singles matches to secure the team victory. Ivashchenko picked up a 1-6, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) win at fourth singles. Nicholas Pollack added a 6-2, 6-3 straight-sets win at fifth singles. Hakim notched a 6-4, 6-1 win at sixth singles, as well.

The Little Giants head to Cleveland, Ohio next Saturday to play at Case Western Reserve University in addition to a neutral-site match against Allegheny College.
