The Wabash tennis team traveled to Ohio Saturday to face cross-divisional foe Allegheny in addition to nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve.

The Little Giants, ranked 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, defeated 15th-ranked Allegheny 6-3 before losing to Case Western Reserve 5-0.

Michael Makio and
William Reifeis opened the day against Allegheny with a 9-7 win at number one doubles.
George Go III and
Jordan Greenwell combined for the same score in their victory at number three doubles.

Reifeis dominated in a 6-2, 6-0 win at number one singles. Kiril Ivashchenko forced three sets in the fourth singles flight to take a 6-3, 4-6, 10-5 victory.
Nicholas Pollock added a 7-6 (5), 6-2 win at fifth singles.
Mazin Hakim finished the match with a 6-2, 6-3 tally at sixth singles.

The Little Giants lost all three doubles to CWRU as well as two singles matches. The Spartans (4-1) are ranked 14th nationally.

Wabash (7-3) will travel to California over spring break to play a series of five matches beginning March 5 at the University of Redlands.
