Tennis Drops One-Point Contest at Wooster

Wabash played the first of its weekend road doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the College of Wooster. The Little Giants dropped the match 5-4.
 
Wabash trailed from the outset after losing two of the three doubles matches. Jordan Greenwell and Kirill Ivashchenko combined for an 8-4 victory in the second flight.
 
William Refeis scored a straight sets 6-3, 6-4 win at number two singles. Greenwell added a three-set 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 win at third singles. Nicholas Pollock picked up a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory at fifth singles. Greenwell's singles win was his 21st for the year, tying him for fifth in Wabash history for single-season victories.
 
Wabash (17-13) head to Ohio Wesleyan University Sunday for the final match of the regular season before competing in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament next week.
