"I was very pleased with our toughness and our grit today," Wabash head coach Will Bernhardt said. "It was a long afternoon road trip coming off of a long last night, and that can sometimes take a toll on your legs and the rest your body for the meet. Our guys were incredibly tough throughout the whole meet. They did a really good job of fighting back. There were a couple of momentum swings similar to last night's meet. We went out like gangbusters in the first few events and then Rose-Hulman came back and then we teeter-tottered back and forth.  But overall our guys never lost their resolve. They never lost the ability to the fight back in all the races and for that I was really, really proud of them and their efforts.

"It was a great team wins today. We had a lot of people step up. We had some people that went faster today than they did last night, which is always great to see you when you're coming back from a second day of the competition. That bodes well for us throughout the process of getting ready for not only the remainder of our season, but the upcoming invite and then on to the conference championship meet. I'm pretty excited where this places us for the invite two weeks and will get back to work and be ready to go on Monday."

The Little Giants will serve as the host for the three-day Wabash Invitational to be held November 16, 17, and 18.
