Box Score 2 The Wabash tennis team traveled to Northeast Ohio Saturday to earn a split in two matches. The Little Giants defeated John Carroll University 7-2 after losing to 15
th-ranked Case Western Reserve University 8-1.

William Reifeis and
Patrick McAuley combined for an 8-2 win to kick off the match against John Carroll at number one doubles.
Jordan Greenwell and
Kirill Ivashchenko picked up an 8-5 win in the second doubles flight.

Reifeis scored a straight sets win at number one singles by scores of 7-6, 7-6. McAuley, the reigning North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, won his number two singles flight 7-5, 7-5. Greenwell added a 6-0, 6-7, 10-6 victory in the fourth singles flight.
Nicholas Pollock cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win in at number five singles.
Andrew Denning closed out the match with a comeback victory at sixth singles. He rallied from a 5-7 loss in the first set to win the final two sets 7-5, 10-5.

Reifeis and McAuley improved to 6-0 in doubles play with an 8-5 win in the morning competition against Case Western for the only point of the match for the Little Giants (3-3).

Wabash will play Kenyon College at home on Saturday at 3 p.m.
