Box Score Wabash tennis took on Kalamazoo College Sunday at the Collett Tennis Center. The Little Giants were even with the 26th-ranked Hornets midway through the match before eventually falling 6-3.
Wabash (2-2) started the day with an impressive victory at number one doubles.
William Reifeis and
Patrick McAuley scored an 8-5 win to put the Little Giants a point behind heading into singles play, 2-1.
Reifeis scored a two-set victory at number one singles by scores of 6-4, 6-3 over Daniel Henry from Kalamazoo (2-0). McAuley battled back from a 6-0 deficit in the first set against Tytus Metzler to score identical 6-2 scores in the second and third sets to win the point at number two singles.
Wabash travels to the Cleveland, Ohio area Saturday to play Case Western Reserve University and John Carroll University.
