Tennis Falls in Matchup With Ninth-Ranked WashU

Box Score The Wabash tennis team traveled to play ninth-ranked Washington University-St. Louis Saturday. The Little Giants scored two impressive doubles victories in the 6-3 defeat at the hands of the Bears.
 
William Reifeis and Patrick McAuley won their 16th consecutive number one doubles match of the season. The duo defeated Konrad Kozlowski and Benjamin vander Sman 8-6 to stay undefeated. Nicholas Pollock and Kirill Ivashchenko combined for an 8-6 victory at number three doubles to give Wabash (8-8) a 2-1 lead heading into single play.
 
Washington University (7-5) earned wins in five of the six singles matches. McAuley posted the lone win for the Little Giants with a 7-5, 6-4 straight-sets victory over Jason Haugen.
 
Wabash heads to Rose-Hulman March 28 before playing Elmurst at home on March 31.
