Fourth-ranked Wabash claimed seven victories out of ten matches in its Monday evening dual wrestling meet versus 16^th-ranked Millikin University. The Little Giants honored the six senior members of the team prior to the matchup between the nationally-ranked programs.
 
Wabash honored Will Amberger, Alex Dague, Chris Diaz, Griffin Schermer, Jacob Stephenson, and Chris Wilson before the start of the match and forfeit victory at 125 pounds by Kory Cavanaugh.
 
Owen Doster, ranked 10^th in the nation at 141 pounds, competed against Ren Dazey and scored a 12-0 major decision to give the Little Giants a 10-0 lead. Fourth-ranked Chris Williams earned a pin for the Big Blue to cut into the Wabash lead. Schermer, ranked eighth at 149 pounds, followed with a 12-7 decision to expand the Little Giants' lead to 13-6. A technical fall victory by ninth-ranked Bradan Birt pulled Millikin to within two points at 13-11.
 
Wabash responded with three consecutive victories starting with a pin by Jared Timberman at 1:23 into the 165-pound bout. Kyle Hatch scored a late takedown in the third period to claim an 8-7 victory at 174-pounds. Ethan Herrin added a 2-1 win at 184 pounds to push the Little Giants' lead to 25-11. Third-ranked Keajion Jennings added five points to Millikin's score with a 16-0 technical fall victory at 197 pounds. Wade Ripple closed out the match for Wabash with a 5-0 win at heavyweight. Millikin was assessed a one-point team penalty for control of the mat to make the final team score 28-15.
 
Wabash improves to 6-3 in dual meets with the win. The Little Giants will host the annual Max Servies Duals Tournament this Saturday. Wrestling begins in the Knowling Fieldhouse at 9 a.m.
