Little Giants Claim Third Place At Wabash Fall Golf Classic

The Little Giant golf team completed the 2019 portion of the season Sunday by finishing third out of ten teams at the Wabash Fall Classic held at the Crawfordsville Country Club.
 
The Little Giants shot a two-day score of 604 after carding a 306 in Sunday's final round. Parkland College won the team competition with a total of 577 strokes (292-285). Earlham finished second with a score of 585 (294-291).
 
Kyle Warbinton turned in the top individual finish for the Wabash team. He cut five strokes off his Saturday score of 77 by shooting a 72 Sunday for a two-round score of 149 to finish 11th overall. Sam Wise finished one stroke back at 150 (72-78) to earn a tie for 12th place. Will Osborn tied for 16th place with a two-day score of 151 (73-78). Blake Miller produced a two-day score of 154 (76-78) to tie for 28th place. Ben Kiesel tied for 37th place with a total score of 160 (77-83).
 
Allen Johnson turned in the top score for the Wabash "B" team. The freshman tied for 30th place with a total of 157 strokes (80-77).
 
Earlham's Nate Mynatt won the individual championship by shooting a two-over par 142 over the two days of competition.
 
The Little Giants will start up the spring portion of the season with their annual spring break trip prior to competing at the Rose-Hulman Invitational March 28-29, 2020.
