"Although the score doesn't reflect it, we performed great tonight," Wabash head coach
Will Bernhardt said. "We had 62-percent of our swims register as season best or personal best. For a dual meet on the 1st of Nov., I will take that percentage any day. DePauw was just able to get their hand on the wall a few more times than us in the close races. That is the advantage of being the home team. We raced well and fought hard until the end. We will continue to improve and use this as a learning experience. We have a tough NCAA Division I opponent tomorrow in Ball State. These types of weekends are what prepares us for the conference championship in February.
Â
"I was very pleased with our diving squad tonight. They earned some valuable team points and are developing nicely. I am so proud of them and what they have accomplished so far. I am eager to watch them grow and get better as our season progresses."

The Little Giants return to action Saturday afternoon when they travel to Muncie, Indiana, to compete against Ball State University at 2 p.m.
