Wabash carded a first-round score of 317 at the Midwest Region Invitational to earn a tie for 10th place out of 36 teams heading into Saturday's final round.
Will Osborn and
Sam Wise paced the Little Giants by both posting scores of 78 over 18 holes to earn a tie for 33rd place out of 192 entrants in the tournament.
Kyle Warbinton turned in a score of 79 to tie for 46th place.
Ben Kiesel tied for 80th place with a score of 82.
Blake Miller fired an 84 to tie for 104th place overall.
Wabash sits 20 strokes back of first-round leader Aurora University with a first-round score of 297. Edgewood is second with a total of 300 strokes, followed by Carthage (304), Loras (311), UW-Superior (312), St. Mary's in Minnesota (315), DePauw (315), Wheaton (316), and Concordia Wisconsin (316). Rose-Hulman is tied with Wabash by also shooting a score of 317.
Saturday's final round at the Eagle Ridge Resort North Course in Galena, Illinois, begins at 8 a.m. CDT.
