The fourth-ranked Wabash College wrestling team rolled to three victories Saturday to easily win the 2020 Max Servies Duals held in the Knowling Fieldhouse. The Little Giants defeated 23
rd-ranked Millkin University 42-3, won 38- 6 against Manchester, then closed out the meet with a 43-0 shutout of Kentucky Wesleyan. The dual-meet tournament is named for the legendary former Wabash head wrestling coach, athletics director, and alumnus.

Kory Cavanaugh started the day with a pin of Millikin's Joey Rivera in the 125-pound bout.
Evan Burge followed with a 10-0 major decision against Jontae Hardaway at 133 pounds.
Kyle Holman battled back from a 6-1 deficit in his 149-pound match against Maxx Fritz to score a pin with four seconds remaining to put Wabash up in the team scoring 16-3.

Andy Posledni added a pin at the 4:45 mark of his 157-pound bout versus Jesse Ellis.
Kyle Hatch, ranked number one this week at 165 pounds, needed just 1:19 to pin Gus Wheeler.
Anthony Cicciarelli picked up a 10-3 win over Scott Bauer at 174 pounds for the Little Giants.
Daylan Schurg, ranked ninth at 184 pounds, earned a 15-0 tech fall against Arnold Fox.
Jack Heldt defeated Evan Patterson in the 197-pound bout.
Isaiah McWilliams completed the win for Wabash with a 3-2 decision in the heavyweight bout for the 42-3 overall victory for the Little Giants over Millikin.

Cavanaugh opened the second match of the day with a pin of Joshua Stephenson from Manchester at the 2:38 mark of their 125-pound bout. Burge received a forfeit at 133 pounds before
Brock Peele captured an 8-6 victory against Elijah Phillips in the 141-pound weight class. Hatch put Wabash back on the winning track after Manchester scored back-to-back wins in the 149-pound and 157-pound weight class bouts by pinning Tyler Leonhard in 2:42 of their 165-pound match.

Cicciarelli claimed a 10-7 victory at 174 pounds over Jeremiah Ford. Schurg scored an 18-3 tech fall against Devontay Moore at 184 pounds.
Sam Hansen won 7-5 in his 197-pound contest versus Jasper Donaldson.
Jacob Obst provided the final win with a pin three minutes into his heavyweight bout against Nico Torres to finalize the 38-6 team win for Wabash over Manchester.

The Little Giants won all ten matches against the second-year program from Kentucky Wesleyan in the final round of the tournament. Cavanaugh finished the day with a 3-0 record after he earned a 3-2 victory against Adam Bender in the 125-pound bout. Burge followed with a 5-2 decision over Austin Cook at 133 pounds to finish 3-0 for the competition.
Riley Lomenick scored a 5-3 sudden victory overtime decision versus Caleb Craig at 141 pounds.
Alex Barr only needed 33 seconds to pin 149-pounder Andy Santana for the victory in their matchup. Posledni scored a 17-2 tech fall against Trevor South at 157 pounds.

Hatch finished the day 3-0 after defeating Dallas Miles with a 16-0 tech fall at 165 pounds. Cicciarelli also earned a 3-0 record for the day with his 9-3 decision over Angelo Talabert. Schurg went unbeaten for the day after receiving a forfeit at 184 pounds. Heldt also received a forfeit at 197 pounds. Obst closed out the tournament with an 8-4 victory over Kairus Washington for the 43-0 victory by the Little Giants as a team.

Wabash will see Millikin for a second time in less than a week when the Little Giants travel to Decatur, Illinois to compete against the Big Blue in a dual meet on Friday, January 24. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CST.
