Wabash College  was honored Tuesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as one of more than 450 programs to be recognized as a fall Scholar Team.

The 21 Little Giant team members combined for a 3.29 grade point average. Wabash was one of 134 NCAA Division III men's programs to earn the academic award from the national organization with a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

"We are honored to be included on this list once again," Wabash head coach Will Bernhardt said. "The middle of January has become one of my favorite times of the year. I look forward to the release of the Scholar Team list to honor all the hard work and dedication that our men put into their studies. This last semester was especially difficult as they balanced new learning modes and the campus social structure amid the pandemic. Our guys responded exceptionally well with another great team performance in the classroom. Thank you to the CSCAA for their continued support of our student-athletes and the recognition that they have earned."
