Evan Schiefelbein earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors for the second consecutive season. The Wabash College senior was named to the 2022 Honorable Mention All-NCAC Team as a defensive player after being selected as a long stick midfield player in 2021.
 
Schiefelbein is the second player in Wabash lacrosse history to earn all-conference honors in consecutive seasons, joining Collin Brennan who was named to the Honorable Mention All-NCAC Teams in 2016 and 2017.
 
Schiefelbein led the conference and ranked 15th in the nation in caused turnovers with an average of 3.00 per game. He broke the single-season Wabash mark for caused turnovers by recording 48 this year. Schiefelbein also owns the Wabash single-season record for ground balls with 107 in 2021. He is the all-time leader in caused turnovers with 114 in 48 games as well as ground balls with 302. Schiefelbein also owns the Wabash career record for ground balls per game with an average of 6.29. His caused-turnovers-per-game average of 2.38 ranks second on the Wabash career records list.
 
The senior ranked third among conference players this season by averaging 6.06 ground balls per game.
 
Schiefelbein posted a season-high five caused turnovers three times during the 2022 lacrosse season in games against Concordia-Chicago, Adrian, and DePauw. He scooped up a single-game best nine ground balls in games versus Concordia-Chicago, Monmouth, Wooster, Wittenberg, and Hiram during the 2022 campaign. Schiefelbein owns the Wabash single-game record for ground balls with 14 in his sophomore year against Monmouth College. He is tied for second in caused turnovers in a single game after recording seven as a freshman against Earlham College.
