Wabash Adds Five Wins on Final Day Of Transylvania Tennis Tournament

Box Score The Wabash College tennis team scored five more victories on Sunday's final day of the Transylvania University Fall Tennis Tournament held at the Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
 
Liam Grennon earned one of four singles victories for the Little Giants by defeating Jordan Cordrey from Transylvania in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5. Christan Zimmerman scored a shutout in his singles match versus Jacob Cooper from Transylvania with a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
 
Cole Shifferly battled back for a three-set victory against Transylvania's Alejandro Perez Candeo. Shifferly lost the first set 6-0 before rallying for a 7-5, 1-0 (6) win in the final two sets. Ethan Koeneman picked up the final singles victory for the Little Giants with a 6-3, 6-2 win against Transylvania's Ty Crabtree.
 
Shifferly and Koeneman combined for an 8-4 doubles win against Wittenberg on Sunday to complete tournament play.
 
The Little Giants will host the Wabash Fall Invitational next Saturday and Sunday at the Collett Tennis Center.
