Wabash scored eight individual victories and won the final relay to defeat Rose-Hulman 157-142 in swimming and diving dual-meet action Friday evening at the Class of 1950 Natatorium.

Ethan Johns picked up the first individual victory for the Little Giants in the 200-yard freestyle. Johns won the event by finishing in 1:46.28. He scored another individual victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a winning time of 48.45.
Daniel Streeter finished second in that race with a time of 50.29.

Nicholas Plumb scored a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a winning time of 53.18. Nick Sommers took second place by finishing in 55.82. Plumb also won the 200-yard backstroke by finishing in 1:58.44. Sommers followed with another second-place finish at 2:03.18.

Justice Wenz captured first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.63. Eddie DeMata placed third overall with a time of 1:02.99. DaMata placed third by finishing in 1:02.99. Wenz added a second-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:14.67. DaMata placed third overall at 2:19.80.

Quinn Sweeney captured first place in the 200-yard butterfly by touching the wall for the final time in 1:59.03. The freshman also won the 500-yard freestyle by finishing in 4:53.20.
Connor Craig swam to first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 22.38. Streeter placed third by finishing in 22.95. Sweeney also took second place in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.20.

Wabash finished the meet with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Johns, Streeter,
John Allen, and Craig combined for a time of 1:28.17.

The Little Giants started the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Plumb, DeMata, Craig, and Sweeney combined to finish the race in 1:38.14 to capture second place. The Wabash foursome of

Xander Straw swam to second place in the 1,000-yard freestyle, finishing at 10:25.42. Will Renie placed third with a time of 10:40.14. Johns scored a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly by finishing in 54.16, with Craig taking third place at 54.68.

Alexander Arruze scored 138.65 points in one-meter diving to finish third overall. Alexander also finished third on the three-meter board with a score of 140.45.

Wabash travels to Michigan on Saturday for a 3 p.m. dual meet against Albion College. The competition will take place at Hillsdale College.
