Wabash opened competition at the 2023 D3 Swimming and Diving Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago.

Nicholas Plumb turned in the top performance of the evening for the Little Giants, placing fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.87.
John Allen finished in 59.88 to place 16th.

Ethan Johns completed the 200-yard freestyle in 1:45.76 to capture sixth place.
Quinn Sweeney took 11th place with a time of 1:44.02. Sweeney scored a seventh-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly by posting a time of 1:57.57. Will Renie placed 16th with his time of 2:05.43 in the 200 fly.

Connor Craig touched the wall in 21.81 to place eighth in the 50-yard freestyle. Allen finished the race in 22.42 to place 16th overall.

Wenz placed eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke by posting a time of 1:00.85.
Eddie DaMata completed the event in 1:00.95 to place 15th. Wenz added another eighth-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley by finishing 4:32.82. Renie finished 16th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:28.18.

Johns, Allen, Plumb, and Sweeney took seventh place in the 800-yard freestyle relay by finishing in 7:05.97. Plumb, DaMata, Craig, and Johns combined to finish eighth in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:36.27.
