The Wabash College swimming and diving team took on the NCAA Division I program from Indiana University – Indianapolis on Saturday. The Little Giants turned on four top-three efforts in the meet, including a record-setting performance in the 1,000-yard freestyle in the 312-61 loss to the host Jaguars.

Mason Gilliam shattered the school record in the 1,000 free, touching the wall for the final time in 9:29.98 to eclipse the old mark of 9:34.08 turned in by Chris Dombrowski in 2018. Gilliam's time earned him a third-place finish in the event.
Eddie DaMata earned a pair of top-two finishes for the Little Giants. He placed second in the 50-yard backstroke, finishing with a season-best time of 27:24. DaMata also scored a second-place finish in the 100-yard breastroke by posting a season-best time of 59.85.
Brody Page earned a third-place finish in the 50-yard butterfly with a personal-best time of 23.10.
Wabash will now prepare for the 2025 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison University February 12-15.
