Wabash College senior attackman Quinn Fitzgerald earned the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week Award for his efforts in the Little Giants' season-opening 17-12 victory at Hanover on Saturday.
 
Fitzgerald scored four goals and gave out three assists in the win over the Panthers to start the 2025 campaign. Fitzgerald found the back of the net four times out of 12 total shots. He also scooped up five ground balls and added one caused turnover. His first goal came on a Wabash power play to give the Little Giants a 5-3 lead. He added a second goal a minute later to push the advantage to 6-3. He assisted on a goal at the end of the second period to break a 6-6 tie, then added the first goal of the second half for his third score of the contest.
