Wabash College sophomore Ryan West was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week after recording two personal-best times in the Little Giants' dual meet against NCAA Division I Indiana University Indianapolis on Saturday at the IU Natatorium.

West earned first-place points in the 100-yard individual medley with a personal-best time of 53.06. He added another personal best with a time of 23.58 in the 50-yard backstroke while swimming the leadoff leg of the Little Giants' 200-yard medley relay that finished in fifth place with an overall time of 1:34.40. He also competed as part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that earned first-place points with a combined time of 1:28.90.

West also placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.70.

Wabash fell 232-128 to the host Jaguars.
