CONYERS, Ga. — Freshman Leo Dellinger closed with a 1-over-par 73 on Sunday to finish tied for sixth place overall and lead the Wabash College golf team to an 11th-place finish at the 2026 Discover DeKalb Emory University Invitational at Cherokee Run Golf Club.
Wabash posted a final-round score of 323 to finish the 54-hole event with a team total of 961 after rounds of 327, 311, and 323. The Little Giants remained 11th in the 15-team field at the conclusion of the tournament.
Dellinger capped a strong weekend with rounds of 75, 72, and 73 for a 220 total, finishing 4 over par for the tournament and moving up four spots on the final leaderboard. His tie for sixth marked the third top-ten finish of the season for the freshman.
Fellow first-year Finn Carteaux turned in Wabash's second-best score on Sunday with an 81. He finished the tournament at 243 after earlier rounds of 82 and 80, tying for 52nd place overall.
Senior Lucas Ranard improved six strokes from Saturday's second round, carding an 83 in Sunday's final 18 holes after opening the tournament with rounds of 93 and 89. He completed the event with a 265 total to place 77th.
Senior Liam McAllister shot an 86 on Sunday and finished at 249 for the tournament, tying for 65th place after rounds of 85 and 78 on Saturday.
Freshman Charlie Seaburg added an 89 in the final round to finish with a 255 total, good for 73rd place after earlier rounds of 85 and 81.
Host and seventh-ranked Emory won the team title with an 873 total, edging sixth-ranked Sewanee by one stroke. Number-one ranked Huntingdon finished third at 881.
Individually, Emory's Kevin Mu claimed medalist honors with a three-round score of 208 after a final-round 68.
