Wabash took an early 4-1 lead on baskets by Andy Walsh and Daniel Purvlicis. Walsh, starting for the first time in his career, led the Little Giants with a career-high 20 points. Walsh scored eight of the Little Giants' 22 first-half points. Purvlicis equaled his season-best effort of 18 points after scoring seven in the first period. Pete Nicksic came off the bench to added eight points. Walsh, Purvlicis, and Nicksic each grabbed five rebounds to pace Wabash in that category.
