The Wabash cross country team showed why the College's motto is "Wabash Always Fights" Saturday. The Little Giant recovered from early falls to finish 16th at the 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.

Three Little Giants fell at the start of the race and another took another tumble later during the 8000-meter competition, held at The Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio.

Freshman
Colin Rinne posted the top finish for Wabash, crossing the line in 25:18.7 to take 94th place in the field of 280 runners.
Fabian House captured 96th place with a time of 25:20.2.
Nick Boyce turned in a time of 25:30.2 in his final cross country race for Wabash to finish 123rd.
Adam Togami took 126th place (25:30.6). Senior
Billy McManus posted the final scoring place for the Little Giants with a 134th-place finish (25:34.1).
Jared Burris finished 149th (25:36.5), and
Mason McKinney crossed in 26:08.3 to finish 226th.

Wabash scored 427 points and tied with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The Stags top-three runners each finished ahead of the top-three Little Giants to claim 15th place. North Central won the team title with 130 points. Grant Wintheiser from St. Olaf won the individual title by finishing in 23:44.9.
