The Little Giant cross country team raced to the top-three spots at the 52nd Wabash Hokum Karem, capturing the team title for the fifth consecutive year.
Fabian House held off a hard-charging
Billy McManus at the finish line on the final lap. House joinedwith
Adam Togami in the combination relay and cross country race to post a wining time of 38:54.9 seconds for over eight miles. McManus and
Jared Burris took second place by finishing in 38:56.2.
Mason McKinney and
Nick Boyce psted a third-place finish with a time of 39:13.2 to give Wabash a perfect score of 6 points. DePauw captured second place (16 points), while Danville Area Community College finished third (23 points).

Freshman
Colin Rinne combined with
Collin Ginebaugh to finish fifth overall. Ginebaugh crossed the finish line for the final time at 39:45.0
Murphy Sheets and
Cordell Lewis took seventh place (40:28.1), while the first-year pairing of
Aaron Tincher and
Charles Mettler scored an eighth place finish (40:31.6). Simon Doughty and
Ryan Horner took ninth place (40:42.2).
DePauw won the women's team title by capturing the top-three places. The combination of Jordan and O'Brien crossed the finish line in first place with a combined time of 35:59.2. Photos from the women's race are available

Wabash returns to action September 19 at the Indiana Intercollegiates to be held at Purdue University beginning at 3:30 p.m.
