Aaron Embree broke his own school record in one-meter diving in Friday night's dual meet versus DePauw. The Little Giants competed well but were unable to overcome DePauw in the 177-119 final.

Embree completed the one-meter competition with a score of 303.45 points to win the event. His score topped his own previous record of 299.60 set last season. Teammate
Max Von Deylen placed second with a score of 266.85. Von Deylen scored 278.25 points on the three-meter board to win that event with Embree placing second with a score of 262.55.

The Little Giants jumped out to strong start, winning the 200-yard medley relay. The freshmen foursome of
Joey Karczewski,
Hunter Jones,
Benny Liang, and Jake Riley posted a top time of 1:36.06. The quartet of
Dakota Rhodes,
Sam Colaiacova,
David Johnson, and
Logan Hawk scored a third-place finish in the relay by finishing in 1:39.32.

Kyle Louks turned in a pair of individual victories for Wabash, starting with a time of 2:00.74 to win the 200-yard butterfly. He added a win in the 100 fly by finishing in 53.33. Karczewski picked up a win in the 100 backstroke by touching the wall in 53.74.

Jones placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:11.04) and 100 breaststroke (59.49).
Chris Dabrowski finished second in the 1,000 free, posting a time of 10:02.76. He scored a third-place finish in the 500 free by finishing in 4:54.34. Liang captured second place in the 100 free by finishing in 48.55. He placed third in the 50 free with a time of 22.28.
Dane Gray and
Wyatt Tarter turned in third place finishes in the 200 backstroke and 200 freestyle, respectively. Gray finished the 200 backstroke in 2:03.53. Tarter's time of 1:47.43 earned his third in the 200 free.

Wabash closed out the meet placing third in the 400 free relay with the team of Tarter, Riley, Colts O'Brien, and Louks combining for a time of 3:17.38.

"This was a great team meet for us against a very strong DePauw team,"Wabash head coach
Brent Noble said. "We've had four opportunities to swim this year and have better each time out, and that's very encouraging. This is a young team that is really developing. I believe we have a very high ceiling in terms of what we can become by the end of the year."

The Little Giants have a quick turnaround, competing against Rose-Hulman in Terre Haute, Indiana, Saturday at 1 p.m.
