Dominic Patacsil ran his quickest time of the season for 8,000 meters, placing third among non-Division I and II runners in the Men's Blue Division Race at the 2017 Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic.
Patacsil completed the course in 25:06.17 for the top-three finish and the sixth-best effort among all runners competing in the race.
Wabash placed 14th in the non-DI and DII team standings.
Aaron Tincher cut over a minute off his top 8,000-meter time of the season, placing 64th at 26:50.93.
Luke Doughty trimmed 30 second off his best effort this season with a final time of 27:13.09 for an 83rd-place finish. Teammate
Joe Deiser broke the 28-minute mark, finishing just behind Doughty in 84th place with a time of 27:13.50.
Drew Lukens also ran below the 28-minute mark for the first time this year with a time of 27:29.43 to finish 105th.
Charles Mettler also produced a season-best time by crossing the finish line in 28:02.96 for 142nd place. Zack Titus finished right behind in 143rd place with a season-best effort of 28:04.05.
Steven Reidell produced a season-best effort of 29:53.75 to place 177th overall.
Keegan Kirkwood placed 178th with top time of the year of 30:05.95.
Wabash scored a total of 335 points in the non-DI and DII scoring totals for its 14th-place finish. Rhodes College won the team race with 88 points.
The Little Giants will compete at the Cowbell Classic at Principia College on October 14.
