The Wabash track and field team competed at Saturday's Indianapolis Collegiate Challenge at the ARC in Indianapolis.
Hayden Baehl finished third out of 39 entrants in the mile run by crossing the line in 4:29.20.
Luke Doughty was next to finish, placing fourth overall with a time of 4:30.04.
Aaron Tincher placed sixth (4:33.47),
John Kirts added a seventh-place finish (4:33.60), while
Colin Rinne place ninth (4:34.66).
Parker Redelman earned a ninth-place finish in the 600-meter run, finishing in 1:26.56.
Satchel Burton placed ninth overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.66.
PJ Mays cleared 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches) to place tenth in the high jump.
Gaven Hill scored a tenth-place finish in the weight throw with a top effort of 13.22 meters (43 feet, 4.5 inches).
Brady Gossett turned in a season-best time of 7:33 for the Little Giants to win his heat of the 60-meter dash. He added a win in his heat of the 200-meter dash with another season-best effort of 23.99.
The Little Giants will compete on Friday evening at Rose-Hulman at the Engineer Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana.
