Six members of the Wabash track and field team competed Saturday at the non-scoring Fred Wilt Invitational at Purdue University.
Hayden Baehl and
Luke Doughty produced top-ten efforts in the mile run. Baehl placed fifth with a career-best time of 4:24.00. Doughty also ran his best career time in the mile to place ninth overall.
Brady Gossett raced to eighth place overall in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 23.60 to win his finals section.
Parker Redelman placed 10th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.95. Teammate
Austin Ellingwood finished one place behind in 11th by posting a time of 52.16.
Isaac Avant crossed the finish line in 7.16 in the preliminary heat of the 60-meter dash.
The Wabash team will compete at the Olivet Nazarene University Invite Saturday, February 3.
