Wabash produced ten top-three finishes to capture second place out of ten teams at the DePauw Indoor Classic Saturday.

The Little Giants scored a total of 99 points to trail DePauw's 104 points. Wittenberg placed third with 77 points.

Isaac Avant won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.13, edging out Andrew Pierce from Southern Indiana in second place at 7.15.
RaShawn Jones added a first-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a finals time of 8.37for the quickest time of the season.

Parker Redelman,
Brady Gossett,
Tyler Ramsey, and
Hayden Baehl combined for a time of 3:30.65 to place second in the 4x400-meter relay.

The Little Giants produced a series of third-place finishes throughout the meet. Redelman took third in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 23.22. Ramsey place third in the 400-meter dash, crossing the line in 52.77. Rogeno Moreno ran a time of 1:30.83 for a third-place effort in the 600-meter run. Baehl grabbed third place in the 800-meter run (1:57.24).
Aaron Tincher placed third in the mile run with a time of 4:29.28.

PJ Schafer and
Gaven Hill added third-place finishes in a pair of field events. Schafer cleared 1.85 meters (6 feet, 0.75 inches) to take third in the high jump. Hill's best effort in the shot put of 13.49 meters (44 feet, 3.25 inches) for his third-place posting.

Wabash will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, February 24 at the Fred Wilt Invitational at Anderson University prior to hosting the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships March 2-3.
