The Wabash track and field team continued the outdoor portion of its season Saturday, competing at the Washington University-St. Louis Mini Meet. The Little Giants placed third out of eight teams at the event.

Jonah Woods won the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:33.00.
Aaron Tincher placed third overall by finishing in 9:39.00.
Drew Lukens captured tenth place with a time of 10:38.60.

Four Little Giants ran to the top-ten places in the 110-meter hurdles final.
RaShawn Jones finished second overall, crossing the finish line in 15.14.
Satchel Burton finished just behind in third place at 16.04.
Angus Edmundson placed sixth at 16.38.
Josh Wiggins turned in a time of 16.39 for a seventh-place finish.

Jones ran to fifth place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.81. Wiggins scored a ninth-place finish at 1:00.21.

Hayden Baehl raced to third place in the 1500-meter run, posting a time of 4:04.52.
Luke Doughty just missed a top-five finish after completing the race in 4:06.75 for sixth place. Baehl also finished tenth in the 800 meters at 2:01.14.

Austin Ellingwood placed fourth overall in the 400-meter finals with a time of 49.92.

Wabash earned two fourth-place finishes in throwing events at the meet.
Brandon Peck captured fourth place in the shot put with a top mark of 13.60 meters (44 feet, 7.5 inches).
Gaven Hill finished eighth with an effort of 12.86 meters (42 feet, 2.25 inches.).

Russell Berning scored the other fourth-place finish with a top throw of 43.31 meters (142 feet, 1 inch) in the hammer.

PJ Schafer posted a mark of 6.05 meters (19 feet, 10.25 inches) for a fifth-place finish in the long jump.
Jared Strehl added an eighth-place finish with a leap of 5.86 meters (19 feet, 2.75 inches).
Ballard Suiter placed tenth with a distance of 5.77 meters (18 feet, 11.25 inches). Strehl also placed sixth overall in the triple jump with a mark of 12.26 meters (40 feet, 2.75 inches).

Washington University won the team competition with a total of 202 points. Rose-Hulman finished second with a score of 132. Wabash captured third place with 73 points, finishing just ahead of Greenville in fourth place with 72.5 points.

Wabash will compete at Wittenberg University on Friday.
