Wabash splits its track and field program between two meets Friday evening. A small group participated in the first day of the Indiana Little State Meet at Indiana Wesleyan University while the other finished 11
th out of 12 teams at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Invitational.

Colin Rinne raced to the top spot in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Little State meet, winning the event with a time of 9:27.68.

RaShawn Jones improved his season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles, qualifying for Saturday's finals with the top time in the prelims of 14.55 for the ninth-quickest time in the nation among Division III competitors.
Austin Ellingwood qualified for the finals of the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.59 to win his heat.

Luke Doughty will join Jones and Ellingwood in Saturday's second day of competition at the Indiana Little State meet. Doughty will compete in the 1500-meter run. The Little Giant will also field an entry in the 4x400-meter relay

The Little Giants scored 14 points at the Twilight meet at Rose-Hulman.
Josh Wiggins placed third in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles by posting his second-quickest time of the season at 15.91.
Angus Edmundson finished sixth in the 110 hurdles finals with a season-best time of 16.33.

Rogeno Malone added to the team's point total with a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles. He completed the race in 59.04.

Chad Wunderlich scored the final points for Wabash with his sixth-place finish in the javelin throw with a career-best mark of 42.39 meters (139 feet, 0.75 inches).

Wabash will also send a group of competitors to Saturday's Al Owens Classi at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
