Wabash scored five first-place finishes to earn a second-place finish out of seven teams at Saturday's DePauw Outdoor Track and Field Invitational.

Brady Gossett posted a pair of victories, winning the 100-meter dash with a season-best time of 11.13. He scored a victory in the 200-meter dash by crossing the finish line in 22.60, another season-best effort. Leon Ivy finished just behind Gossett in second place in the 200-meter dash at 22.83. Ivy finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.36.
Parker Redelman added a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash by finishing in 23.01.

The Little Giants added two more one-two finishes in the hurdles.
RaShawn Jones raced to his top time of the season of 14.90 to win the 110-meter hurdles.
Satchel Burton placed second, finishing in 15.30.
Josh Wiggins placed fifth overall with a time of 15.75.

Jones and Wiggins ran to first and second in the 400-meter hurdles, with Jones winning the race with a season-best time of 57.47. Wiggins posted a time of 58.63 to finish second.

Gossett, Wiggins, and Ivy were joined by
Anthony McGinnis to win the 4x100-meter run with a season-best time of 43.46. Â

Hunter Baehl produced his best throw of the season to place second in the javelin with a top mark of 49.46 meters (162 feet, 3 inches).

Corbin Kaiser placed third overall in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2:01.87.
Colin Rinne finished third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.28.
Aaron Tincher scored a fifth-place finish in a time of 4:06.93.
Angus Edmundson added a third-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.75 meters (5 feet, 8.75 inches) in a later jump to match the winning height overall.

Wabash scored a total of 142 points to finish second behind Rose-Hulman with 218 points. DePauw placed third with a score of 119 points.

The Little Giants will return to DePauw next Saturday to compete in the Indiana Division III Championships.
