Wabash turned in two top-100 finishes out of 339 entrants at Saturday's Inter-Regional Rumble cross country race held at Oberlin College in Ohio. The Little Giants scored a total of 554 points to finish 21st in a field of 39 teams.

Sam Henthorn posted the top finish for the Little Giants by placing 45th with a career-best time of 25:41.4.
John Kirts finished the 8,000-meter race in a career-best time of 25:57.8 to earn a 67th-place finish.

Joe Deiser scored a 128th-place finish by completing the race in 26:33.1.
Clarke Criddell finished with a time of 26:58.2 for his best career effort to place 170th overall.
Thomas Gastineau raced to 173rd place with a time of 27:00.0 for his best effort of the season at 8,000 meters.
Ethan Pine added a 197th-place finish at 27:12.1.
Drew Lukens finished in 27:17.1 to place 204th overall.

Berea won the men's team competition with a total score of 75 points, followed by Otterbein in second place (109) and Case Western in third (125).

Wabash returns to action November 2 when the Little Giants serve as the host school for the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships. The meet will take place at the Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana beginning at 11 a.m.
