Wabash raced to a second-place finish at the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championship behind an individual victory by
Sam Henthorn and a total of three all-conference performances.

Henthorn won the men's title and the NCAC Men's Runner of the Year Award by completing the 8,000-meter course at the Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana, in 25:42.7. He is the second Wabash runner to win the NCAC individual championship, joining
Dominic Patacsil who captured the title at the 2017 meet.

John Kirts earned a place on the Honorable Mention All-NCAC Team with a 16
th-place finish. He completed the race in 26:48.9.
Ethan Pine placed 21
st out of a field of 101 runners to also make the Honorable Mention All-NCAC Team. He finished the race in 27:11.5.

Joe Deiser and
Hunter Wakefield just missed earning spots on the all-conference team. Deiser finished the race in 27:13.7 to place 23
rd overall. Wakefield crossed the finish line less than one second behind his teammate in 24
th place. Wakefield's official time was 27:14.1.

Thomas Gastineau scored a 38
th-place finish with a time of 27:40.0.
Henry Egan finished in 27:44.7 to place 39
th.

Wabash scored a total of 85 points to place second overall out of nine teams competing at the meet. The Little Giants were picked to finish fifth in the pre-meet coaches poll. DePauw won the men's title with a score of 53 points. Allegheny captured third place with 89 points. Denison (93 points), Oberlin (127 points), Kenyon (142 points), Ohio Wesleyan (146 points), Wittenberg (186 points), and Wooster (234 points) completed the team scoring.

Wabash will compete at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional race at Calvin College in Michigan on November 16.
