Senior Ballard
Suiter, a member of the Wabash track and field team, has been named the Wabash College Scholar-Athlete of the Week presented by Hoosier Heartland State Bank.
Suiter, a Hispanic Studies major, won the pole vault at Saturday's Robert H. Johnson "Tell Me Something Good" Indoor Track and Field Open by clearing 4.10 meters (13 feet, 5.25 inches), also tying for the second-best mark by a North Coast Athletic Conference student-athlete this season.
Suiter also ran on the Little Giants' second-place
4x400-meter relay team that finished in 3:29.81 and placed sixth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 9.81.
