LA CROSSE, Wis. — Wabash College freshman Brock DeBello captured First Team All-America honors for the second time in his career, racing to fourth place in the 400-meter dash final Saturday at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Senior Sly Williams earned All-America honors to close his collegiate track and field career, finishing 15th in the triple jump at the championship meet hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at the Veterans Memorial Stadium Complex.
DeBello advanced to the 400-meter final with a school-record time of 46.85 seconds in Friday's prelims. He produced another record-setting performance Saturday, crossing the finish line in 46.80 seconds to place fourth and earn First Team All-America honors for the second time in his collegiate career. DeBello earned First Team All-America honors in March with a sixth-place finish in the 400 at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Williams picked up his first collegiate All-America honors with his top-16 effort in the triple jump Saturday. He fouled on his opening jump before recording a leap of 13.85 meters (45 feet, 5.25 inches) on his second attempt. He saved his best for last, jumping 14.50 meters (47 feet, 7 inches) to move into fifth place after the first flight. The second group of jumpers pushed Williams to 15th place in the final standings, giving the senior Second Team All-America honors.
Senior Quinn Sholar added two Second Team All-America performances earlier in the week with 15th-place finishes in the discus throw and shot put on Thursday and Friday.
