Isaac Avant tied the school record in the 60-meter dash by winning the event on Saturday at the Fred Wilt Invitational while three Little Giants competed at the North Coast Athletic Conference Combined Events Meet Saturday and Sunday, placing Wabash third in the conference standings after one event.

Avant raced to a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash at the Wilt Invitational at Anderson University, finishing with a time of 7.04 to equal the mark set by Aaron Schuler in 2014.
Brady Gossett placed third in the same event Saturday by crossing the line in 7.17.

Ballard Suiter, and
Hunter Baehl competed in the heptathlon at the Kenyon on Saturday and Sunday, combining for three top-eight finishes in a field of 13 competitors. Bigler placed fifth overall with a total of 4,040 points in the seven events. Suiter scored 3,916 points to finish seventh in the final standings. Baehl placed eighth overall with 3,841 points. The trio scored a total of seven points toward the conference championship, putting Wabash in third place after one event. The remainder of the championship events take place March 1 and 2 at the College of Wooster.

Josh Wiggins added a first-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the Fred Wilt Meet at Anderson. He won the race with a time of 8.66.
Leo Warbington placed seventh in the finals by finishing in 9.06.

Kamron Ferguson produced his best mark of the season in the triple jump of 12.61 meters (41 feet, 4.5 inches) to finish second overall.
PJ Mays placed fifth with a leap of 12.28 meters (40 feet, 3.5 inches).

Reed Sauter raced to third place in the 400-meter dash by finishing in 51.65.

Preston Whaley added a fourth-place effort in the 200-meter dash by finishing in 23.29 for his best time of the season.
Andrew Young scored a sixth-place finish in the event at 23.37 just ahead of
Tyler Ramsey in seventh place (23.48). Â
Clarke Criddell placed fourth in the 800-meter run with his season-best time of 2:01.16 while teammate
Zachary McKinney finished seventh (2:02.87).

Trashan Clemons placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.08 meters (19 feet, 11.5 inches). Kyle Schalk scored a seventh-place jump of 5.86 meters (19 feet, 2.75 inches).

Daniel Howe added a seventh place finish in the weight throw with a top mark of 14.14 meters (46 feet, 4.75 inches).
Isaiah Campbell provided a ninth-place finish at 13.94 meters (45 feet, 9 inches).
