Wabash posted 14 top-five finishes at Saturday's DePauw Outdoor Track and Field Invitational to place second out of ten teams overall.
 
Josh Wiggins was part of two first-place efforts for the Little Giants. He won the 110-meter hurdles by crossing the finish line in 15.39. Teammate Leo Warbington place fourth in the high hurdles event by finishing in 16.65. Wiggins joined with Isaac Avant, Brady Gossett, and Leon Ivy to finish in first place in the 4x100-meter relay, winning the race with a time of 42.21. Wiggins also place third in the 100-meter dash by finishing the race in 11.44. Avant place fifth overall with a time of 11.54.
 
Preston Whaley scored a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash by completing the race in 49.14. Tyler Ramsey added a fifth-place finish with a time of 50.68. RaShawn Jones finished the 400-meter hurdles in 56.86 to place third in that event.
 
Joe Deiser turned in a time of 9:58.51 to place third in the steeplechase. Ethan Pine added a fourth-place effort by finishing in 10:08.11. Hunter Baehl place third in the javelin throw with a top mark of 48.65 meters (153 feet, 8 inches).
 
Donnie Mader made a top throw of 41.89 meters (137 feet, 5 inches) to finish fourth in the discus. Keith Abramson turned in a time of 1:58.20 in the 800-meter run to finish fifth overall for the Little Giants. PJ Mays added a fifth-place finish in the high jump by clearing 1.78 meters (5 feet, 10 inches).
 
Wabash scored a total of 105 points to place second as a team, trailing only Rose-Hulman with a score of 192. Centre College placed third with 92 points.
 
The Little Giants will compete at the Indiana Division III Championship Meet next Saturday, April 13. The meet will be held at DePauw University.
